Jeremy started riding at the tender age of two and followed a new path when FMX was introduced into his life. He was only 16 when he joined the notorious Metal Mulisha crew. After an almost fatal crash in 2006, "Twitch" demonstrated what the word "comeback" really meant with a third place at the 2007 X-Games. His mad bike skills brought him more victories in 2007 and he was on a mission to win the Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour in 2008 – a goal he was ultimately denied due to an injury he suffered at the third event of the tour.
Unlike most of the other riders, Stenberg chose to ride a 450cc bike at the Madrid event in 2012, a standard race machine weighing in almost 10kg heavier than most of the other riders' bikes and powered by a four-stroke rather than the usual two-stroke engine. After two frustrating years (2009 and 2010), "Twitch" produced a pure freeride video with Jay Schweitzer, taking a break from FMX competitions, including X-Games in 2011 and 2012. Let´s see if the Temecula resident will come back for battle or focus on other opportunities such as racing the Lucas-Oil Truck Championships on four wheels, or winning Best Whip competitions.
