Sebastian Westberg from Särkisalo in Finland has yet to make an impact on the international FMX scene, but his Stuntfreaks team is well known in Scandinavia. The 23 year old Kawasaki rider started freestylin' in 2012 and has worked his way through the trick list pretty quickly, earning invitations to shows around the globe. Right now he is coming back from a bigger arrangement in China and more than happy that his submission at the Novillero Online Qualifier for the Red Bull X-Fighters Event in Madrid worked out.
Sebastian made a lot of noise on his social networks by sharing his profile and moving his candidacy thorough local FMX magazines in Finland. This helped him to be on the top of the ranking throughout most of the contest. His video application attracted an impressive 10,119 votes, handing him the fans choice in the Novilleros voting.
For Westberg "A dream came true," stated the Stundfreaks Rider after winning the voting and becoming one of only twelve competitors at the most prestigious FMX competition in the world. To be ready to challenge the best riders in the world he has been working on new-school tricks like the Flair at his practice compound and will put in even more effort to improve his already impressive bag of tricks for Madrid. Westberg is the first rider from Finland joining the elite list of riders to have competed at Red Bull X-Fighters.
