Alastair Sayer
Resides in:
Orapa, Botswana
Suzuki RM 250
FMX since:

Deep in the heart of the Kalahari Desert of Botswana in the early 90´s, Alastair Sayer started scavenging out 'No Handers', 'Can Can´s' and Heelclickers on his 60cc motocross bike. He raced on the South African MX circuit throughout his junior career, while also enjoying a life of freeriding in the African bushvelt. It wasn't until 2002 that he seriously began hitting proper FMX ramps.

With local successes in South Africa, he was invited to the IFMXF Tour and several other international contests including the Dubai X Games, where he was rewarded with a bronze medal in the whip contest. The style of the 30 year old African bush cat is really original. His bag of tricks includes all the old school tricks and combos that many people have already forgotten. Although Sayer still includes some of the lastest Flip combos, it is his tweaked extensions that make his style very unique on the scene. The Highest-Air World Record holder brought real African style to the final in Pretoria 2014 and entertained his crowd, but was unable to step up his game and make it past the Quarter Final.
