FMX since:

Cam Sinclair has been riding motorcycles from an early age. After multiple successes in motocross racing during his youth he earned himself a reputation as one of Australia's future racing prospects. However, Sinclair discovered his love of flying high over jumps and turned his attention to the world of FMX. He has never looked back.

Cam's breakthrough came when he was invited to ride on the Crusty Tour, the biggest FMX series in his native Australia. Stellar performances raised his profile and gave him the chance to perform throughout Australia as well as in the UK, India and New Zealand.

In 2009, Sinclair was invited to ride the Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour for the first time – and he had an immediate impact. He became the first ever rider to land a Double Backflip in a freestyle competition when he performed the trick at the third stop of the 2009 World Tour in Fort Worth, Texas (USA). However, just a few weeks later the same trick went horribly wrong: Sinclair under-rotated a Double Backflip in Madrid (ESP) and crashed heavily, rupturing his liver and fracturing several bones.

Despite initial concerns about his health, Sinclair demonstrated true Aussie grit by recovering quickly from his injuries in order to be back in time to ride the 2010 Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour and a winning a gold medal at X-Games 16 for his Double Flip.

The last stop of the 2010 season in Rome did not go down as planned when Sinclair had to pull out of the competition after crashing while practicing a Double Flip. Sinclair was kept busy in 2011 riding in Nitro Circus shows Down Under as well as a few other events. As a result he only took part in one 2011 World tour event, the final in Sydney.

In 2012 at X-Games, as the father of a newborn infant, he showed that he can still score medals and during the tour final in Sydney the Yamaha rider unleashed a 540° to impress his Aussie crowd. Let's see what Cam is up to besides Nitro Circus once he gets another invite for Red Bull X-Fighters.
