Martin grew up in the sunshine state of California and at only 13 years old he moved back to Europe with his parents, where he started on his motocross mission. In 2003 he turned to FMX and never looked back. His quest for competition across Europe Martin eventually led him to made it into the IFMXF. Unfortunately, in 2005 he suffered a serious back injury, breaking three vertebrae and shattering one completely. In 2006 he came back strong with his best result (fourth place) at the IFMXF in Cologne, Germany.

Besides riding, Martin is a busy man. He hosts the annual Horsefeathers FMX Jam in Prague and takes part in the production of many FMX events, and not just in the Czech Republic. He's been a member of FMX4EVER since 2007 and takes care of the team's merchandise and marketing. He is always pushing forward.

After taking part in a number of Red Bull X-Fighters Jams around the globe, Martin had a chance to shine at the World Tour event in Glen Helen in 2012. His debut on the Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour was special for the Czech rider as his father had taken him to the race track there when he was only nine years old to have his first ride on a real Moto-X circuit.
In 2013, Martin earned another wildcard spot for the kick-off in Mexico City and spent the rest of the year with the notorious FMX4EVER on numerous Red Bull X-Fighters Jams around the world. In addition, he competed in a few other events and has shown that he's ready whenever he gets another opportunity.
